No. Not at all, but I could think of a few members that I cheese off (which I don't mean to)

As WV rightly says - this is Debby's house, and that should be upheld (shame my maturity, or lack thereof, sometimes leads me off the beaten track)

Actually, you bean counters, this was the real number of beans in his soup...

"I'm making some one million six hundred seventy eight thousand, one hundred and forty two bean soup. It's always good with some Rotel and hot Italian sausage. I'm also going to make a few loaves of french bread.

Stand back, and watch your fingers!"

They take life too seriously then.
You and sour and berts are just silly and having fun.

If you were mean that would be different -but you aren't.
I would expect you to get sent to the principals office more than you do, though.
I was a substitute teacher after I got out of college for a bit.
It was difficult keeping order when they saw you smile at their antics.
The monkeys had the keys to the zoo, as it were.

I'm glad that you see us that way, cos for sure all the silliness here, I know, is meant in good natured fun (subjective, I realise) - can't recall anything else in the short time I've been on this thread. A moderately considered use of language is likely what keeps us out of trouble.

Even as a teacher, it's hard (actually miserable) not to appreciate humour - makes one more approachable and a better teacher (speaking as an educationist, by trade)

Thought we would manage a day without monkey references - alas, twas not to be:)

Unfortunately I have not had time. Will likely have to wait until the weekend. I'm finishing up a few things in the office.... its getting close to Turkey-thirty!
