That's a tough gig Sour - and totally unreasonable (unless she's tempting you something pretty darn good - banana cake, for example.

Re: the rugs, cushion debacle - if she dyes her hair black, puts on white foundation and starts piercing body parts hitherto unknown - then be worried.

Hmm, she did make the nutless banana bread yesterday. When I met her and far into our marriage her hair was long and dyed a beautiful black. Now it is sort of a reddish brown, but I sometimes see those gray roots.

It's not a lack of enthusiasm. I am always willing to give things a try in the name of marital harmony. It's just that some days one is not up to things.
