The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I can nap in the evenings, if I'm really tired, and still go to bed on time and sleep all night.

On the other hand, if I don't take a nap, and go to bed early, then I always wake up super early.  :/

Evening naps? If I did that, it would not be fair on Mr. G - I'm a considerate kinda chap :D

Good morning!

We have a gorgeous rosy pink and blue morning happening outside and if I remember right, it will only be in the low 70's. Should be a beautiful day.

Sour, we're settling in quite well. A few more inconveniences taken care of and we'll be sitting pretty. Congrats on your beagles yesterday (I think it was then?).

Sunflour, we brought very little furniture with us. Mainly just our bed, my small recliner, desk and our porch table and chairs. Since we didn't know for sure the size of the rooms and I didn't have space in the U-Haul trailer, it was easier to leave it behind (all was sold or given away). Worked out ok though, a nice couple in town has a decent furniture store and we don't need a lot.

Hey DMC, so are all your kids out of school now?

Hi Debby! Yes, I have 2 boys and my youngest is now graduated. Scary! He had orientation last week already for college

I go to bed early to accommodate early am ( 3 or so ) awakenings.

But easy to figure out - if off the next day arise with energy.....if working- keep hitting the snooze button

So I just wake up from a nap to read about everyone's napping habits? Weird!

I actually took off work at 4pm today and left the 21-yr old alone for the evening. Came home intending to do a bit of unpacking and fell asleep on the sofa. DH turned in my time card for the past 2 weeks and I ended up with a total of 158 hours...no wonder I napped.

It was nice getting home early, might have to start doing that more often!

Napping is good for the soul - working is certainly not! Gosh, even chefs don't do those kind of hours, Debby! Hope you find the golf shop in one piece today!
