The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Many, many moons ago, when the world and I were young, I spent a couple of years as a pizza delivery driver, and was surprised to discover that I have a good sense of direction. I still do pretty well in the real world, but unfortunately, I tend to get lost in my own head . . . a place where Garmin is no help at all.

Don't worry, BL - the real world is over-rated

My car has "Sirri" AKA be careful when on uncharted land

Pizza Delivery - hope you only had to cover friendly neighborhoods.

The trip went just fine, didn't get lost once! Here are a couple of pictures I took along the way to Centennial, WY

Have to admit, the Medicine Bow Mountains still scare me...especially when there seems to be a serious lack of guard rails and the constant switchbacks on the road. I think I was the only one that took the 40 mph signs to heart. Went home via the interstate which wasn't as scenic (who has time to look at the scenery anyway when you have to watch the road curves) but much more level.

It looks very nice, Debby. Hope you had a good time with your relatives!

Wow, those are some stunning shots! You live in a really beautiful state.

Thanks Nicky. I took the pictures when I pulled over to let the faster drivers get ahead of me

Thanks Chris, it was long enough for a nice lunch but not long enough for anyone to get on each other's nerves

Lol! I hate tailgaters. Like riding your bumper will make you go faster. It actually makes me go slower or I strategically hit the brakes. They usually back off after that.

My hubby has an iphone and tries to use Siri, but I tell him "WV Hick" is not a language she can understand

Oh, that reminds me of a bumper sticker... can't really tell it here, but let's just said it has something to do with tailgating and hair pulling

The tailgaters that really make me nervous are young females applying makeup and talking on their cell phones
