Good morning!

Big news...it's actually raining here!! We don't get much around here other than the occasional sprinkle so this is pretty cool

The golf course has been kind of dead golf-wise lately. I guess most have moved on to hunting, school, etc. We did have a cross-country track meet on Friday. Must have been about 200 people show up (it was multi-county school kids). Not much for our side of business but did sell a lot of cold drinks.

Guess it's time to make tracks. Hope you all have a good Sunday!

Hope the wedding was fun.

It was fun...it was out at the fairgrounds and the flies were really bad ( and they sprayed for them) other then that it was a great time and good food.

The flies didn't bite but we're annoying!! The fairgrounds has a really nice building that has big doors that open on three sides so it's perfect for a reception. It was the sheriff's daughter and he's on the fair board so was probably able to use it for free.

Morning sunflour! That's great you get the whole week off. Hope you have something more fun than cleaning the cat box, lol.

We had rain on/off all yesterday so no golfers. It turned out to be a good day to do some cleaning in the club house. I still have my 16 yr old helping for a few hours on the weekends so it's nice having those extra hands.

Today is sunny and only 63 this am - feels like Fall. A great break from those 100 degrees we've had all summer.
But had clouds and rain a couple of days off the hurricane. Not enough rain here to overcome the long running dry spell.

Glad you still have some help even if just weekends.

I don't know why but cannot really motivate to do much of anything unless it is imperative these days.
