The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's a radical change. When the removal is done gradually as in a long term relationship, it's not so drastic a change. Ask me how I know.

oh my.......

that is a day no guy wants to celebrate.....

How can something so fresh and beautiful feel so miserable? I had an awful time this morning! All the doors frozen shut on the van, back hatch frozen shut, windshield wipers frozen to the window, ice on sidewalk - and when we finally did get out the door the tires were frozen to the ground and the van wouldn't budge!

The one shot is our cherry tree. Snow was so heavy and wet that, combined with the tree still having all its leaves, it is bowing down and touching the ground!

Good morning Sunflour! I don't think it is...just a blood blister under the nail. That'll teach me to pay attention, and of course it's the pointer finger which you use for everything

Sorry this happened to you.

I slammed the car door on my thumb this summer and the blood blister started at the very base of the nail bed. I was so happy when it finally grew out to where I could trim it off! Two months of people discretely pulling me aside to suggest hand washing because there was "something gross" on my thumb!

So pretty yet so wrong. Several years ago we had an early October snow (very unusual for NJ) when the leaves were still on the trees - majorpower outages. We had a tree come down on the house and lost power for about 9 days.
