The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's a chilly, very windy day here so far. The temp is 18* and with the wind feels like 1*. That doesn't even sound like a legit temperature, lol...1. There was a sign above the highway yesterday warning travelers that today from 3am-3pm there would be wind gusts of 60+ miles per hour. Made me glad I got my running around done yesterday.

Hi Friday! Yep, the house is definitely warmer and the wind isn't whistling through so quieter too.

What do you have going on this fine Saturday Friday?

I've finally got things back in order (somewhat) from Thanksgiving, so next up is decorating for Christmas. The tree is up, but only has lights so far. Then the village has its Christmas parade tonight so we'll button up and watch that. Should be fun.

I am sorry, but those are untenable weather conditions.

I am not a fan of extreme cold, and the wind drives me nuts.

Yes, as you can tell I have been exposed to much wind throughout my life.

Ok, gotta ask...bunflup? What the heck is that?

Hey, when I quoted you the word changed to button up. What kind of witchcraft is this?

Growing up in KS, we had wind all the time but nothing like this. This here is crazy wind country (as I'm sure Blooie has mentioned before).

So far, the weather hasn't bothered me much because I can mostly pick and choose when I go outside
