What about you TK...no uncomfortable biz parties to tell tales about?
 
I always try to attend our company Christmas party...don't dread it, or look forward to it, but it's sometimes necessary.

I drink, enjoy myself, but never ever under any circumstances get drunker than the owner or boss.

Nope, not a good idea to be drunker than the upper echelon. Unless you're hiding under a lampshade of course, lol.
 
our smallish, family run business, is really not an upper echelon type of gig, however, I learned a long time ago, by observation, never to drink more than those that rank higher than you in business.
 
My boss used to bring a notepad and paper when we met cos things always got hazy. He was Irish, so haziness was second nature

I should add that he was based in Switzerland and me here in Kenya, so we didn't meet so regularly
