Good morning folks

N F C being married to an American I can cope with yard or garden; depending on my mood

I have also become quite the expert at baking Pumpkin Pie which is definitely not an Australian tradition at Christmas.

Eeew, pass on the company Christmas party .. I managed to dodge mine by being in hospital; while it was effective, I do not recommend it lol

I know it is probably very antisocial of me but I spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with these people and as nice as they are, I do not need to spend my free time with them also.

You will know when it is time to put down the hipflask if you start dancing on the table with the chicken sign or doing chicken impersonations

Aaaw DMC such cute little kitties; I am pleased they decided best buds would be more fun.

Ok, back at home...obligation met until next Christmas.

Actually it wasn't horrible. It was very family friendly with a Santa and gift bags for the kids, hot cocoa & popcorn balls for everyone and an ice skating show by some local school girls.

Still, I'm glad to be home with the cats and DH ensconced on the couch watching the Navy/Army football game.

@Teila I don't think your feeling is antisocial at all...makes perfect sense to me (but then, I'm a hermit at heart, lol).

It's kind of tough figuring out travel plans this time of year. Getting to Denver for Christmas was always "iffy" for me too when I lived in KS. Hey Friday, I got my gingerbread barn done using your icing tip. That stuff was awesome! Worked perfectly, much better than other things I've tried in the past. Thanks again! (And no matter what Blooie says, I did not steal her plastic chickens!)
They aren't plastic.... They are frozen.... :)

We spent the day with family - grand daughter's 18th birthday.

It was fine, but it was so good to get back home.

I've heard that taking your clothes off at a party can result in no further invitations.

But even for the Calendar Man?

18, what a wonderful young age. Family get togethers are a lot more fun than office parties:)

This one I had to share! Blondie waiting to use the favourite nest box. She has been patiently perched for at least 15mins and apparently the other two boxes are invisible

I hope for her sake Cilla is laying and not broody

They can be really bright like that eh?

Did you name Cilla, after "Cilla Black", by any chance?

My Gingerbread Chicken Coupe is done and posted. Now I'm going to have a margarita...or two.....or three..........

So you've made a gingerbread car? That's gonna be your second disqualification, Blooie!

Either way, the margarita will do you good
