This one I had to share! Blondie waiting to use the favourite nest box. She has been patiently perched for at least 15mins and apparently the other two boxes are invisible I hope for her sake Cilla is laying and not broody

Just left the Amy Grant concert. I usually love her Christmas music but her voice was a little off tonight. Michael W. Smith was good and easy on the eye but the surprise was Jordan Smith...no relation to Michael. He was on "The Voice" and won and must be touring with these guys and he's absolutely amazing. He got a standing ovation which was well deserved.

Ok, back at home...obligation met until next Christmas. 

Actually it wasn't horrible. It was very family friendly with a Santa and gift bags for the kids, hot cocoa & popcorn balls for everyone and an ice skating show by some local school girls.

Still, I'm glad to be home with the cats and DH ensconced on the couch watching the Navy/Army football game.

 I don't think your feeling is antisocial at all...makes perfect sense to me (but then, I'm a hermit at heart, lol).

Glad you survived it!! I can't wait to get home to see how the kittens faired on their own. Looks like a 3 hour trip from Minneapolis will be 4 hours due to road conitions

DMC, glad you enjoyed the concert! Hope the kittens didn't destroy the house while you were gone. When we got home from the party, we found nuts all over the living room floor from the nut bowl on the coffee table. Apparently some sort of experiment was performed by the cats and it was determined that walnuts roll the best

Sour, happy birthday to your g-daughter...18 seems like such a milestone birthday.
