I loved John Candy, it was devastating for his early demise.

But, my favorite of his films was Summer Vacation, I still laugh just picturing him sunburned with Noxema spread all over

Sure, guilt trip me. If it was 19 headed to 40 I would not even check the water. It is 15 below here and I will check water after ample amounts of coffee.


I feel like a terrible chicken rancher now.

Me too but he looked outnumbered. My son shot one 2 summers ago right on the edge of our trees. He sent me a picture and said he just about had a 17 course meal...meaning my chickens. Pure luck he saw him and shot him.

The trip to Cheyenne was uneventful...we got our errands taken care of and had lunch with my brother & his wife. Also ended up buying a new bed, can hardly wait for that to be delivered...maybe a decent night's sleep is in the near future.

Teila, I have a cousin that's done greyhound rescue for years. She's done a remarkable job placing 100's of them all across the U.S. (and kept a few for herself over the years). Good work on your sister's part, whether she keeps Freddie or finds him a forever home.

By the way, does anyone have a "MyPillow"?? Every time I saw the commercial, I wanted to try one. Finally looked at the website and didn't like the price. But at Christmas time, I started seeing them in stores. For about half the price. Finally gave in and bought a pair a week or so ago. So far, I'm impressed and loving it. But a new pillow is always nice in the beginning.

Anybody have one?

Good morning WV! My mother in law has a My Pillow, she loves it. 2 people I clean for have them, they don't love them. I bought The Perfect Pillow on Black Friday from Herbergers, I love it. My friend bought one for her husband and he loves it. It's more like a memory foam but not as heavy. I hope they go on sale again as I'd like a backup. No warm up for us. The highest I see is 24 a week from tomorrow. Friday they are showing a -7 for the high
