Now that's one of those things you just can't un-see

Right?

Where do you live?

Just North of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are in a high desert climate. Since we are at 5,000 feet, the temperatures are cooler in the summer and much colder in the winter than I'm used to. (The puddles actually freeze here! LOL) It can be very dry most of the year, with low humidity which can make hatching a challenge.

Since we are on the Rio Grande, our house is surrounded by cottonwood trees so It doesn't feel quite so desert-y at my house.

- i can't imagine hangovers are too much fun. I used to work in Djibouti and its hot and humid - gosh did i have some cracking hangovers!

I have not had a hangover for many, many years .. a couple of drinks and I am ready for sleeping

I know I joke around about the heat but it definitely got to me today; I got very cranky & snippy! 5 days straight and more next week .. to quote Blooie "Over it!"

Crystal, nearly 2 year old Silkie X Pekin [Bantam Cochin], was definitely feeling it today too; I was getting worried about her and had the bucket ready to dunk her. We had the mister hanging from the tree and over their favourite spot but she was still getting very close to a cause for concern.

04:40PM and it is still 89.5F with a relative humidity of 62% [after topping at 93F] ... looks like sleeping is not an option again tonight.

Fridaydays Yet, My sister used to live in Albuquerque. Are your summer's much cooler than that? I think she had oppressive heat. Do you have road runners? I would imagine they would kill chickens , and ruthlessly.

Beautiful pictures Friday! The area we live in is classified as high desert as well.
