What's that saying? No rest for the wicked? I haven't been that bad, but this no sleeping stuff is getting out of control.

Maybe I can blame it on Ralphie's comments about speedo's...that's probably enough to keep a person up.

Fridaydays Yet, My sister used to live in Albuquerque. Are your summer's much cooler than that? I think she had oppressive heat. Do you have road runners? I would imagine they would kill chickens , and ruthlessly.

OMG are road runners real??? Thought "he" was just a a cartoon

Just North of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are in a high desert climate. Since we are at 5,000 feet, the temperatures are cooler in the summer and much colder in the winter than I'm used to. (The puddles actually freeze here! LOL) It can be very dry most of the year, with low humidity which can make hatching a challenge.

Since we are on the Rio Grande, our house is surrounded by cottonwood trees so It doesn't feel quite so desert-y at my house.

Wow, beautiful pics - hot balloon events around here leave many stranded in the pine trees :(

Gorgeous pictures! We have a lot of cottonwood around here.....husband does not like them as they are huge and make a mess.
