I have told him, several times. He insists he's ok and then continues to forget what he's doing. I did find out yesterday he didn't appreciate my new name for him (Space Cadet).

Anyway, this should be over soon and things can get back to what passes for normal, lol.

NFC, I'm praying for your DH. I'm hoping that this proves to be like most of the things we worry about; worse in the worries than IRL. I'm hoping he can remain calm and confident, and do what he can to see to it that justice is served with these two.

He's doing the world a favor by standing firm in court. Those kids need to be off the streets for a long time. But that is a lot of pressure to put on one guy, and it sounds like hubby is reacting pretty normally. The job of a defense attorney is to get his client off or get a reduced sentence. He/she can sure hammer on the victim or witnesses in the process. That's the part I would hate - I'd do one of two things...get all tongue tied or bite right back. Well, I guess I could stutter so badly that it takes too long for my testimony and the lawyer would forget what he asked me and the judge would call for a recess.......

Defense attorneys can manipulate the truth in so many ways - I understand their purpose, but it is still a despicable occupation.
