I got 2 eggs today from my new girls...weird to see a white one

WE HAVE A BIRTHDAY TODAY!! What a blessing this little stinker has been to our family, our friends, and to all who know her! Tried to get her to sing "Happy Birthday" but as soon as I grabbed the camera she clammed up. Just before that she'd given me a most enthusiastic rendition! Oh, well, that's our Kendra!

Is yours tomorrow, DMC? How cool is that - Kendra's mom's is tomorrow too! We can have one heck of a party here! @sourland , get that potato salad prepped! DMC wants some - with candles in it! From what I've heard of the green potato salad, they should stand up in it just fine!

Oh, Sour does a much better job of describing this, um, delicacy than I ever could. All I can say is that it's green! I've got stuff for margaritas tomorrow - did ya get the cake baked yet? I shouldda mentioned that I don't care for chocolate just in case, but I'm sure the others will clean it right up!

I'm not sure you could put candles in it; I think it might resent getting poked and crawl away.

Congrats on the new white eggs DMC!

All I'm getting right now are blue eggs...it's going to seem strange to see a brown one (if my Wellie ever decides to open for business).
