They are so stinkin' adorable. Do cockatiels talk? Or should I say can they?

Males can learn to talk and whistle tunes. My grandmother has one for company in her apartment (would you guys call it a condo?) and he says "What cha doing?". That's the extent of his talents but he's a pretty and quiet companion.

OHLD - I saw your turkeys on the 'Other Poultry Calendar' thread. They are so beautiful! What breeds have you got? I really like the dark speckled ones (almost like a tortoise shell cat) in the first photo.

I have some pure breeds and a few mixes. You are probably referring to my mottled ones? Which were my home made mixes. I used to have 2 hens but lost one last year. I currently have 19 turkeys.
