Happy Birthday!

They are 12 days old. My cold is 10 days old and I still can't breathe. Today I'm 50 years old, but I wanted to keep it quiet. I am relieved to still be kicking with all problems I've had within the last few years. Things could have gone the wrong way, and I'm happy they hadn't. Yay me.

What kind of chicks are they? We could play the guessing game if you post some photos (plus we love photos of fuzzy cuties). I had a couple of Pekin chicks I was convinced were boys because of their personality but I was thankfully wrong.

Hope y'all are feeling better soon - sounds like it is the flu - it has already showed up around here a month ago, and we don't usually see influenza until March

Pancake is beautiful

Pancake is adorable,both in looks and in name.

I don't plan to keep any bunnies, but will if I can't find good homes for them.

I have the most wretched cold, so I understand not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon.

Jae, any possibility you are dealing with the flu ? It is starting to hit some folks here. Which reminds me that I need to get my flu shot.

Do get your shot, I got mine 3 weeks ago and I hate needles.

I would prefer no more girls as they make the babies. I'm okay with the boys. They are all solitary critters unless spayed and neutered after reaching sexual maturity. They do get to visit through the hutches. You did get Pokeys name right.

They are squirmy and hard to photograph. Mom was getting grumpy with me removing them too, so just a few quick shots of a few of them.

Hahaha, as I was writing that, a segment on the morning tv show came on showing this lady who took up gym work later in life and became a power lifter and personal trainer. She started personal training at 74.

The "old" part is for how my body, and soul feels, that unfortunately isn't going anywhere.

My body struggles upon occasion, but my soul flies free - until I look into the mirror. Princess and I were looking at pictures from our trip. She looks good, but I sure look old. I need to wear my hat more.
