Well, I'm at 15 cockatiels. He bought an extra one. It's a little Lutino that's the sister of the two normal grey boys. I'm actually really glad as she's a doll and she is all for eating which has got her brothers, and the little special needs girl eating too.

I've got confirmed homes for four of the older ones, plus there's the two staying here. Three are going together which is awesome.

Anyway I'd better feed the little ones again then toddle off to bed so I can get up early and do it all again!

J, that's good news on the confirmed new homes for some of your babies!

Sounds like you need a baby bird sitter so you can take a break (or a nap)

Time to run back outside to see if the girls have worked up the nerve to come out of their coop. I shoveled most of their run and put feed & peanuts on the coop ramp so we'll see if that was enough for them to get over their fear of all this white stuff.

My girls hate snow. It’s funny when the first snow comes and you open the door in the morning for them to race out and they all dead stopWe got our first frost last night and I forgot to cover my peppers. I hope I can salvage some as there were really nice ones out there yet. My yellow ones were just starting to turn. I found out Hattie likes eggs. I let the girls out yesterday and went to the shop to get feed and came back and Craig was standing there and asked if there had been an egg in the coop as Hattie was eating it. I knew my supply was down but wasn’t sure it was her, now we know. I got 3 eggs yesterday cuz they were in the other coop that she can’t see into. Now the girls will not be let out until afternoon until hubby can raise the nesting box higher. No wonder she has such a shiny coat!

Move to a warmer area, I think you have a notebook or is it a PC? I'm jealous of the snow but not your temperatures. We're only in the 80's but high humidity and way too warm for October

Same here! I put my regular glasses on top my head to read and put them back on for distance. Pain in the butt!

They get stuck in my hair on top of my head. So i put them down. Then 25% of the time i can't find them.
