Isn't it bad luck to acknowledge 'the day' ?

I was thinking of getting a flu shot and getting my truck inspected today. Now I'm uncertain.

Okay, I tempted fate, and the truck passed inspection and I got my flu shot with minimal wait. Tonight grandson has a baseball game - hope the good luck continues.
