The doc I went to 2-3 times here in WY? He was in the newspaper last week. Apparently he was running a drug side business out of his office as well as supplying some of the younger girls in town with money for breast enhancement surgery. An older, 'well respected' pillar of the community type and a big shot at the hospital. :sick

Makes me even happier I found a doctor I like in another town, even though it means driving 180 miles round trip to see her.

Being somewhat new in town, I don't know if this was a change in his personality or if he was always a creep :confused:

I do know his office personnel couldn't ever submit a single claim for me correctly, that's why I quit going as soon as I did. Hours on the phone trying to get things straight with them drove me away. Who knows, maybe they were some of his "other" customers :hmm

I will actually have a stake in the 'big race' now .. I got a colleague who is in the office [I am remote] to purchase me some tickets in the $1, $2 and $5 sweeps so having 3 horses in the race will make it a little more interesting, well interesting at all that is ;)
 
So, I asked my colleague, who is also my best friend and with whom I am staying on the Friday night when I fly down for our staff Christmas Party to buy me a horse in the $5, $2 and $1 Melbourne Cup Stakes.

I got second in the $5 and $1 totaling $34, take out the $8 to give back to my friend and we made a $26 profit which we are going to spend on something to snack on after the party on Friday night or breakfast before I fly out on the Saturday :D

You have to share your birthday - my naughty Java finch was incubating eggs before I even knew she'd made herself a nest (in a tiny finch box no less - she's never made a nest in anything smaller than a parakeet nestbox before). I thought for sure she'd do ok this time around, but this morning I found the first hatchling dead and pecked at. So I got my good old incubator out again and put the remaining three eggs in there. Two have hatched so far and both look good. Fingers crossed at least one of the poor little suckers survives. I'm just going to be a busy lady!
