Yeah, they did not show up 2 days ago because they were waiting for the gutter machine. Today they didn't show up because it was supposed to rain. I worked outside all afternoon, so did hubby. No rain. Just one excuse after another. I am really steamed at this point. Concrete around the posts still not done!
I had holly growing wild in TN, never lost one to it. They don't like it any way. But they will not be running around in front of the goat shed any way. Unless they escape the fence....
I don't know, I haven't found that mine are all that brilliant.

Hubby’s first day of leave and already he has made progress
Now, remember we are living with a hoarder so excuse the mess! My office is in the extension which is also a storage area [tee hee, everywhere is a storage area! First thing to go when I can will be all the random things hanging on the walls!]. Unfortunately, we have an indoor cat who knows how to work the doggy door, so, at times, we need to lock the cats in the extension which was tricky to do with a ‘hole’ in the wall.
In the interim, I had blocked the ‘hole’ with cardboard which severely blocked air flow and some light, making my office even hotter than it usually is.
We needed something to allow air and light but keep the cats from getting through. Obviously, I still need to stain the timber but this is what we came up with ……
