The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good Morning.

I wish books weren't so darn expensive. :(
I just got a library card yesterday. Haven't had one in a while but you can do cook online stuff like access databases and I think they even have TV shows and movies. So it's worth it. Plus we have a local network of like 14 libraries so you can get books from any of those too.

Anyway, I figure I can read the books, see if I like them or would recommend. Even though most come highly recommended by lots of people. I still would like to check it out first.

Library is the best way to get them free......just make sure you do return the borrowed books on time ;) . We have a used book store - low prices and they give you $$ off for returning them to exchange. Also we have a "friends of the library" old book events twice a year and books are really cheap - I've bought some great ones for only 50 cents up to $2. Do y'all have anything like that in your area?

@Teila Thanks for updates on Castor, hope he improves daily :hugs.

Good morning everyone :frow

@KDOGG331 cute pup, what is your brother going to name him?

@Teila hope you enjoyed the chocolates!

@ronott1 that's a great picture of your DD on the Ferris Wheel :thumbsup

@DigMyChicks you do get good pictures with your phone, love the wishing well!

I'll be back in a bit...Opie just decided he has to sit on my keyboard and it's a tad bit difficult to post. Just a tad
Thanks Debby! Hubby built that for me years ago out of old wood from a shed that went down at his parents place. I plant flowers all around it in the summer. I have a bird that builds a nest on it every year. Sister liked it so much he built her one also.

Good Morning.

Those used book stores are dangerous!

Mind you, book stores in general are really dangerous for me. Even if I just buy from the bargain section I spend hundreds of dollars at a Time!
I have an ereader now and there are a lot of sites where I can download free books.
