Yes, I am in the 'Carbonised' zone with a predicted maximum of 98.5F today ... should never have moved from Char-Grilled! :gig

It is only 08:30AM and already it is 86F with a relative humidity of 82%.

Oh and TGIF!!!!! 82 HD's yesterday ... hoping for something around 40 HD's today :fl

I have a Castor update from my sister:

More improvement today, they are letting me take him home as I can nurse him from home now. Still not out of the woods yet but hopefully getting there.

That is awesome news because we all know how much happier he will be at home and how that will help his recovery. Also, as my sister is a Vet Nurse, she should be able to take care of him pretty well.

………. And gone!! :he Not a drop of rain here! Temp creeping back up, 89F now.

I think maybe just the size and the white markings? She does look a lot like Gator did as a puppy. Another reason I am thinking Lab. I think the Border Collie came from her markings but that would likely be the white from the Pyrenees cropping up but who knows.

And right!? Those paws are massive.

Castor has improved slightly again today, he ate from a bowl and is drinking water from a bowl, he is trying to clean himself too. He gave me a kiss today, he knows I am there and he can lift his head more steadily today. We still have to hold him to stand him up, but he is getting stronger. The main thing is that he is improving even if it is very slowly.

I am not going to get too excited but he is heading in the right direction at present! :yesss:

Library is the best way to get them free......just make sure you do return the borrowed books on time ;) . We have a used book store - low prices and they give you $$ off for returning them to exchange. Also we have a "friends of the library" old book events twice a year and books are really cheap - I've bought some great ones for only 50 cents up to $2. Do y'all have anything like that in your area?

Speaking of that, I just got some books and a DVD LOL

And a bunch of CDs the other day.

$1 DVDs and CDs and audio books, 50 cent paperbacks or $1 for large paper backs, $1 for hardcover.

For me, music stores and bands websites are dangerous LOL

And I also buy books even though i dont even read lol

Amazon is also really dangerous cause you can get ANYTHING there LOL
