Very Pretty Eggs!
Thank you, nothing prettier then farm fresh! I can’t wait until summer so I have all this too.

I have 22 chickens so we are about equivalent with half laying.

I hope my others start laying soon. The muddy cramped pen probably doesn't help. I really need to move them to the new coop soon. But first we have to either move the current run or build a new one. I want to build one but idk. Moving the current one is a pain because it is a chainlink kennel and heavy. Normally it would be fairly easy to just take the panels apart and move it over but I put a welded wire top on it and my dad doesn't want to take it off so we have to move it all in one piece. And we need to enlist people to help lol

I personally think it would be way easier to just cut the top and put a new one on but ehhh.

I want to build one because I want a much bigger one.

But anyway, I need to either move tjem them or start letting them free range again. With the storms it's hard. I need to look at the weather. But also ever since the hawk attack I've been nervous.

Good luck!

Cap, I missed your post last night! Okay, deep breath. Biopsies are done just as much to prove something isn't anything to worry about as the other way around. So we all need to focus on the "ruling out" reason for doing them. Nobody's said anything about "confirming", but if and when that happens we'll deal with it the way we have everything else - with a positive outlook, lots of love and prayers, and a good dose of humor!! :hugs
Yeah, not my first biopsy. Thanks though.

I also need to find something to put on the ground because their pen is disgustingly muddy with all this snow, rain, storms we've had and it hasn't had a chance to dry out because it hasn't been sunny. I know that can't be healthy. But idk what to put in there.
Leaves, shavings, straw, mulch, whatever you can get.
