Sean, reading your list wore me out... I'm having trouble keeping up with 9 breeds, so only hatching two chicken breeds this year and four turkey. Might throw in a batch of ducks too.

I like elephants too, also if their trunk is facing the middle of a room, that is supposed to be good luck. So far my little elephant figurines haven't done anything but get dusty. But I still love them

Good morning Debby and all! It’s 30* here this morning. It’s supposed to be nice all week...so excited!! I am off to a baby shower. Mom to be loves elephants so that’s what they are decorating with.

Wow. That's all that I can say. Lots of other words are forming, but I'm too astounded. So just wow.

Oh, our PO box is usually pretty full when we get home! There's usually nothing in there but envelopes with cellophane windows anyway. Resident and Occupant get a lot of mail...probably more than we do. I figure if I didn't see it, I can't pay it. Ma had an interesting system for bill paying. She said she put them on a lazy susan and gave it a good spin. Anything that stayed on got paid. "Sometimes I have to spin it three or four times to get 'em all off there." she said.

Occupant and resident should be considerate and get their mail forwarded to their current address.

I don't think there is a warehouse in the world big enough to hold one day of mail addressed to Occupant or Current Resident!

Actually...
We're adding more coops in that area and thought about putting a moat around to catch runoff etc. Ducks came up in the conversation. Ya just never know with me.

I was thinking a moat around my garden would be neat to keep mice and such critters out. But that would involve digging, and i have enough of that to do right now.
