Flowers bursting open all over the place. Today i got about 3/4 of another raised bed hand tilled and planted my sweet potato starts. Some of my beans need to be replanted as they have not come up. But i find having my hands in soil very therapeutic.
Beautiful!
It doesn't bother me. I have been playing in dirt since i was a kid.
There was a lady behind me with a little girl at the grocery store the other day which I assume was her granddaughter. I heard her say whats in your hair and oh your face is so dirty and she was saying I just picked her up from daycare. Leaves in her hair, dirt on her face...I told her it’s ok for kids to play in the dirt. Nowadays they have all that antibacterial everything. How do you build up an immunity if you never get exposed. We made mud pies when I was little...best of times.:)
Yeah, that's what confused me cause people play in dirt all the time yet now I'm finding out it's bad? And am paranoid hah
Don’t sweat the small stuff...

Morning everyone :frow

@JaeG what a beautiful piece of property! And the house is great too, I love the openness of it. Hope it works out for you :fl

@CapricornFarm playing in the dirt is what I miss about not having a garden, that's always been one of my favorite ways to spend a nice day. Beautiful Iris!

@drumstick diva sorry about the dental situation :hugs

@rjohns39 that's a tough work schedule you're looking at...take care of yourself and remember your health & well-being are more important than $$ (although that's a necessary evil).

@Michelle Farmer-Brown were you the one asked about our delivery? (Sorry, read so much can't keep it all straight.) We didn't get all of our order the other day...the sales rep says we'll get the rest of it today but the delivery truck driver says we'll get it Friday. So, who know?

We did open yesterday with a very abbreviated menu and had a nice steady trickle of diners. That gives me a good feeling for the coming season.

Amen!
My dad got really sick. His palor was grey. Huge bags under his eyes. Doctor told him to take sinutab. Didn't get any better. Doctor gave him nasal spray. Didn't get any better. Actually felt so horrible that he went to the ER on Christmas day. Still nothing. Months of suffering. Then he went to the dentist for a regular checkup. He had an abscess.
Proof in the pudding that what goes on in one part of the body can seriously affect another.

About a month and a half ago during a routine 'cleaning', it was determined that I had an abscessed wisdom tooth. Since having it removed I note an improved sense of well being. No question in my mind that this was impacting my health in a significant way.
