Blooie I lived that life for a long time... Never forget when my customer said I needed to visit all 450 federalized airports in a year. Think about it... 365 days in a year. 3 days per airport. So if I never went home it would take 3.7 years to visit them all. We executed a modified schedule that took 5 years,

Camp fire was not started by a campfire, just as the Carr fire wasn't started by a car. Yeah I did think both of those things.

Often times fires are named after the areas where they start... There is speculation that the Camp fire was started by power lines....

There has been restrictions on burning in California for a very long time. No open fires anywhere... if you want to cook over fire you need to have a barbeque to hold your wood or coals...

My grandpa when he barbequed always kept a bucket of water next to the fire. When he was done cooking he would reach in with his tongs and take all the coals out one at a time and drop em in the bucket. Later he would dump the water out the coals would dry and he could use them in another fire.

I always though this was a good idea...
