its two am here in San Diego ... I am just getting ready for bed. been a long day.

It's 4:30 am where I am and still haven't gone to bed - plus now I'm really hungry

You two are as bad as I am. I did have a pretty good night last night - bed at 2:30, up at 6 for the day.

Nothing new here...getting the house cleaned up so that we can go to Sheridan this weekend. Hate coming home to a messy house, then having to unpack on top of it. I just took a look out the window and it's snowing. But I couldn't figure out what was wrong - why it looked so odd to me. Then it hit me...the snow is coming straight down, not sideways! That never happens here!!

I have decent health insurance so I practically have to fight the doctors the off. They see a money maker when they see me. Which is actually a bit frustrating. I don't need so many doctors. but I got them all anyways.

My son loves to pause something so he can eat or have a pit stop and he'll do it often just to irk me. That's okay when he asks me to make some popcorn I don't seem to hear him.
I mean how hard is it to pop a bag in the microwave and wait 2 minutes or so?

My friends used to get so annoyed when I would be like wait pause it, I wanna get a snack, I have to go to the bathroom, etc. And ask a million questions. "We know just as much as you do"

I record programmes so that I can pause them because there's no watching anything in peace in this house (unless you get up really early which I often do too). Sometimes I'll get to the end of a movie and I've watched it in such a disjointed fashion that I'm not entirely sure what happened! I love being able to turn on subtitles too - then I can 'listen' without actually having to hear the actors.

We can pause and i think rewind live tv here but i rarely do it. And I hate starting something and then not finishing it for a couple days or hours or whatever. If I do that, I must start over

A dog does come in handy sometimes. I just sent ours out to bark at a group of idiot 'children' who were wandering up and down the road yelling at each other. Honey has a very intimidating, deep, baying sort of bark. They've moved further up the road so unfortunately I can still hear them but at least they aren't round our property anymore. Honey was very proud of herself. She doesn't bark much at all (she knows it's not acceptable to bark at everyone) but I'm glad she understood her duty in this situation.

Hope you all slept well. I should be getting myself to bed, not that our DD is asleep yet. It's almost 10.30pm here. The rain has just started and the wind has picked up. We're in for a stormy day tomorrow - a good day for Christmas tree decorating.

I just got back from the dentist like an hour ago. Hadn't been in a while. We are changing insurance yet again in January so trying to get some doctors appointments out of the way. We switched insurance a while ago too, not sure exactly how long, but it used to be really good.
