I just wish someone could explain, to my complete satisfaction, why vision and dental aren't automatically covered. Aren't the eyes and teeth part of the body? Why do they have to be insured separately, or paid completely out of pocket even if you have good health insurance!!

Noise ordinances start at 10pm here. Maybe send a cruiser to get them to go home and stop pestering the neighborhood

We tried ringing up once about the neighbour over the back having a big bonfire (it's illegal to have a fire outdoors in suburbia and even if you are rural you need a permit during summer). They swore black snd blue someone was there for over an hour putting it out that very night. It was still burning and smoking away the next morning, so I don't have much faith that the council would do anything.

I got the job. Looks like I'm going to be really busy, unlike my last job. So far I'm enjoying it.

Now, if only the house would move...

Hi Cynthia A few years ago my old friend sunflour started this as a surprise and it's just kind of kept going. So nice to see you here, make yourself at home!

I just took a look out the window and it's snowing. But I couldn't figure out what was wrong - why it looked so odd to me. Then it hit me...the snow is coming straight down, not sideways! That never happens here!!

I can understand your confusion. Nothing usually falls straight down here! Have a safe trip to Sheridan B!

Hi Jae I think a lot of dogs are better at posing than cats. I probably had to take 10 pictures of Opie to get that one that wasn't too blurry

Speaking of Sunflour is she okay? Is Buddy still making gingerbread houses? I tried a convo with her to no avail. Buddy was so much dog, and so little cat, he was the ONLY CAT with 100% approval by me. I loved Buddy.

I haven't talked to sunflour for a long time. She got real busy with work, then kind of disappeared. I tried to get hold of her several times but no response.

Abby, the small one, learned to sit in 3 days. They wanted a cookie for going out to potty. No sit, no cookie. We don't have to tell her to sit most of the time now. With 3 dogs they definitely need to learn some manners early.

We are working on leash training too already. She walked around the block yesterday almost the whole way. First time ever on a leash.
