The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I haven’t sent any cards and only have a couple gift certificates for the boys. I can’t believe my cats are not bothering my tree. Hubby made this wood base and they arent bothering it at all. I hope i didn’t just jinx myself:gig

Beautiful tree DMC! Nice for you that the cats aren't bothering it. There's a whole thread I've been following on cats & Christmas trees...you're certainly lucky compared to some of those members :lau

Hubby and i and the cats are watching bird TV. The feeder is very busy with all this snow.

Beautiful avatar Cap, love the look of your cabin with all the snow!

All of the dogs I’ve owned or trained, and not one ever did this - until Fee! She has to have her blankie. If she’s not sleeping with it, she’s dragging it around like Linus. When she goes into her crate, she takes it with her and either partially covers herself or scrunches it up and holds it, sometimes using it as a pillow. Last night when we crated her for the night (gotta LOVE crate trained dogs, even if hers takes up the whole living room), Ken tossed her blankie on top of her back. She grabbed the end of it off her back and SHE did this!

Today she grabbed her blankie, dragged it into her crate and made a huge production out of getting it just where she wanted it. Then she settled in for a nap.

Just in case anyone is wondering how big she is now, here ya go...last photo of her today, I promise!

We'll enjoy all the Fee photos you can share B! She's so cute with her Linus blanket:love

Todd goes into crazy puppy mode when we come back from an outing and sometimes after a patrol. He tosses his toys and jumps around like a crazy pup. But he's 80 pounds and can easily rest his paws on my 6'3" shoulders (pretty much his elbows). He can be quite the effective road block when he wants attention.

Isn't that a nice way to be greeted! :) How's Todd doing with the animals now Bob?

husband , buddie and i went for a three hr one way ride today to get bud a new sister, since i had to put sadie down i've been wanting another bulldog, this time bigger, found one that i loved the looks of, heres a couple of pic's ,have to take her to the vets and have her eyes checked, dry eye, and how much to spay , she awfully shy as she was a failed breeder

Congrats on the new bulldog Sharron! Have you named her yet?

:frow didnt try to catchup did I miss anything....

This week has been partially good and partially horrific...

My usual I guess....:gig

Glad to see you back here Deb, hope things are ok!

This is Fiona’s family - she’s in a pink collar but you can’t see it in this photo, that’s her on the far left. Size of the litter was a bit surprising, even to the vet!

What a great family picture!

Ok, pretty much caught up!

Got home late yesterday and was so wore out fighting to keep the road on the car with all the wind, I just kind of dozed off  I have a couple pictures of the house work done and will post those in a bit. One of the things we did was get an estimate on kitchen cupboards...WOW! Good thing there's a plan B and a plan C for ways of keeping the cost reasonable.

Off to find a fresh cup of coffee!
