That's a good thing. She's hungry!

It’s just such a difference from the last one. She is fully aware of our financial situation so she is pulling out all the stops to get us a quick, but fair, sale (she can see the value in our property that the other agent never did). She’s done so much work before we’ve even paid for any advertising through her agency. It’s awesome and all I can hope is that it’s all over soon.

nope, we had the city out over a week ago to fix the problem, they came out while we were gone, unloaded a truck load of sand, grated it out on our side, we knew it wouldn't work but try telling a crew that doesn't want to really do any work , anyway still have the same problem but now with all the sand running down the yard.
we might have to try getting the commissioner out here to see for himself or herself before we get anything done right

Which engineer thought that would work!? Hope it gets properly fixed soon.

Not to be callous but they probably look at the situation as your 'snowbirds' and will be going back north soon so why bother. Idk?

engineer? i somewhat doubt that a engineer was even consulted

they sure don't know this snowbird very well, guess they don't know that this snowbird was born and raised a full blooded rebel and can read their pedigree like a southern lady and never raise my voice or cussing them out but they will get the message

X2, when I worked with the state, the city engineer of Seguin tried to bribe me not to file a violation report. It was after the flood in 98' and the city was burning the debris from the flood on private company owned property. They eventually got nailed after filing the violations but not before the smoke and fog cause a serious accident on IH 10 ...then they really paid for their misjudgment.
ETA - funny thing, there were other city personnel and vehicles (fire truck) involved in the accident....they shouldn't have been were they were when the accident occurred....because they stopped too long at a donut house. Had they not stopped they wouldn't have been in involved. But I guess they had instant 1st responders. I had to go to court and testify and I had to say I saw them at the donut house.

Well I guess Texas isn't like Chicago. Thank goodness. Testifying against anyone in Chicago can lead to sudden/ permanent disappearance.

now thats funny
our son is a police caption and everyone thinks they can butter him up with donuts but what they don't know is altho he loves good bearclaws, he won't eat sweets but one or twice a month because of his diet so he wouldn't have been there

i have to go get the root canal in the morning then go across the street and have the hole hes going to drill filled, going to be a long day and i hate dentist work, not the dentist, but i don't like having the shot, i tend to tighten up as he works and have to keep telling myself relax, probably won't sleep worth a flitter tonight but i better go try to sleep since we have to leave early to get thru the heavy traffic to get there in time

Oh I'm sure they wanted me to disappear...that's why they were trying to bribe me...( the city engineer invited me to his house to discuss the matter) sorry I can't be bought! I was under the microscope during the hearings. Everyone involved in the accident was pointing fingers at eachother, me, the city, the state....unreal.
