Good morning Bob and all! School is cancelled today so another day off for me. My people will not be happy as I had to cancel on them 2 weeks ago due to the weather.

Schools are closed here too, due to flooding... 3.2" of rain last night.

Wow, We’ve never cancelled here due to rain but then there's no school in the summer.

Buss can't get through some of the low lying areas. We've had way too much rain in the last year, so the ground is saturated.

Good morning everyone!

Those dog stories are terrible, if only the owners took some responsibility toward them and had some consideration for their neighbors.

When we had our little farm in north FL, the people across the road decided they were going to get rich quick by raising pit bulls. They kept those poor dogs in little chain link cages and had little interaction with them. Of course the dogs barked all day, they didn't have anything else to do. I found that if I played a radio at top volume the dogs would shut up and I could enjoy time with the animals and garden.

Bob, so your school goes all year long?

DMC, I would hope your clients would understand why you haven't been able to clean for a couple weeks.

Looks like another day for me to spend quality time with the shovel. Had to clear a path to the coop 2 times yesterday and this morning you can't tell it was ever done. And it's still snowing off and on.

Well yes and no, it's 71°F right now. Temps are suppose to drop all day and by 1:00am or 2:00am down around 36°F. It's been cloudy the last two days and spitting rain occasionally. Other than that, it's still better than you and the rest of the country has been experiencing.

Wow, that's a pretty dramatic drop! Guess this would be a good day to take care of the outside stuff first then head on inside.

BTW, have you been doing any painting lately? If you have, would love to see it!
