The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We were going to give him a shower, especially after the skunk, but he seemed to take care of it on his own. Still really learning this whole LGD thing.

The smell from the skunk went away on it’s own? Interesting, never would have guessed that. That’s good though. Gator was pretty good about taking care of himself too and keeping himself clean, he even tried to bite or scratch off his own ticks if/when he got them. But we of course picked them off ourselves when we noticed them but some I think he got himself. And he got baths when he got gross as he lived inside the house full time but I think he probably would have cleaned himself too if we let him.

I was really bad today and had a frozen Hungry Man dinner but I have been eating pretty healthy lately so thankfully eating one frozen dinner isn’t really a huge deal BUT it wasn’t very good and the chicken was soggy which is my reason for mentioning this because I have got to start cooking more. This particular one looks very easy to make (except maybe the apple dessert but that’s not really necessary anyway) and would probably taste much better. Posting here cause I figure maybe one of you has a recipe. :p obviously not gonna eat it again tonight but maybe one of these days. And I like Salisbury streaks too and most of the frozen dinners they sell except the frozen part. Would like to start making them myself and/or cooking other stuff. I really don’t eat frozen dinners at all anymore but someone bought them and there was one left. But I want to cook more cause I usually eat out and/or wait to eat until late so that I only end up eating once a day.

Hey KD, you know the dinners taste better when their not 'frozen'! :lau

Yeah I know!! That’s why I was laughing! I thought it was funny.
On a similar note, I took my sister's TV dinner out of the oven and ate it....then rewrapped the foil back on it and put it back in the oven. When my sister opened it up, she started complaining to my mom that they didn't put anything in this TV dinner! :gig

Reminds me of my son. I used to buy him Lunchables as a treat, they had a little bitty candy bar in the package. I gave it to him and he loudly protested that I ATE HIS CANDY BAR. I told him that the stuff came down a conveyor belt as things were added and someone forgot to add the candy. He said NO,YOU ATE IT!! Such a mouth on a little kid.
