Maybe your right...used to be Conservative Reserve.I thought it was Crop Reimbursement Program, were they pay you not to grow any crops... also called, 'layout land'.

It's good information to know! I have been away from farming for a long time. In Ohio the farmers signed up for federal CRP and would put land into some type of wildlife habitat status; hence the "conservation" referance.Different states have different programs. Here's Texas

Our farm is all organic but even before it was we were enrolled in the program.

Good point.They say growing slower is good, better for their joints. When they grow too fast, they can have problems. Also, is he still intact? Because I think intact dogs tend to grow slower but I don’t have proof of that but they do say being intact is better for their growth/development, especially big dogs. Franklin is still intact and he has been growing pretty slowly too, been at 60 pounds for a few months now, but that’s good.
