hey everyone, left early this morning for the auction, i wasn't allowed to buy anything heavier than a chicken today,(someone has been bringing in potting mix, potting soil. peat moss. mulch, etc CHEAP) sigh
well, i had the coon in a foot trap last night, but husband forgot how strong they are and didn't anchor the chain down properly so i lost the coon and my duke trap, not to mention the coon was so po-ed off that he was able to chew my hose going to the greenhouse so husband had to turn water off til he could repair it, just wasn't a good day at all, we stopped to eat at a Chinese restaurant and a 12 year old pushed a cart into the front of my car so now i have a couple of marks on the bumper, when i told his mother(i admit it wasn't a low tone ) she was sorry, looked at the damage and just walked away,) just wasn't my day

Thanks, we got most done. There’s 60 acres that is going into CRP but it’s so incredibly wet it won’t get done this year. If it keeps raining like this we will have crops under water. Our back yard is filling up with water again. It was barely gone before we got it back. It could be worse. Farming is definitely a gamble!

That was the way it worked when we held ice skating competitions. Some people jump right on it soon as the application date arrives. Others are "I'll do that tomorrow" a few times until the deadline is approaching. Some get to pay the late fee because there were too many tomorrows.
