Thanks, I adore well made furniture. This is "tiger oak "wood, over 100 years old. The guy I bought it from was a little kid when his parents bought it. And he is no spring chicken!

i love any kind of wood but the oaks are my favorites, husband likes walnut cause thats what he grew up with, his momma like the walnut and cherry which i have one of her old sofas, the frame and arms are cherry

Ice storms are so destructive. Stay safe & warm Sour!

We had an ice storm when I was pregnant with my first boy. We lost power for 5 days. There were snapped lines everywhere. It made me appreciate electricity and water when we got it back.

I think those calls happen to everyone Deb. Back in the day, cell phone numbers were unavailable to callers but those days are gone. Every once in a while I'll get several calls in a row, always from different numbers, that it's my last chance to do something before they take me to court.

I might not always be good, but I haven't been that bad! They're just junk calls.

I had a missed call from Russia the other day. I did not return the call.

I think I did, heck I can hardly remember what I had for breakfast! Today I went to Lynchburg and bought a washstand.

Love that!! Tiger Oak is my favorite. I bought this and refinished it but don’t know what it is. Could it be a washstand? I know it’s missing something as there’s a ledge on the back for it.
