Ripleys is fun and the Fountain of Youth is close to that. Even if you don't make it inside the fort, periodically they do some re-enactment stuff outside and shoot off a canon.Oh that bridge I forgot, do they still have the big lions on either end? If you get the chance, check out some Cuban food! Love that stuff
Just don't expect it to be like Mexican, because it's way different. There used to be a nice Cuban restaurant close to the Ponce de Leon statue.
Oh boy, you're making me miss it now. Have a blast and tell us about your trip when you get home.
Don't hand feed the gators!
Or the pirates!![]()
If gators bite off a chunk of you, think you get fined for "feeding the gators." So don't.
Honor among thieves! I had heard that life in the regular merchant shipping and the English navy wasn't all that good. Of course pirating had its own risks, like people trying to kill you when you attempted to take their ship. Or trying and then killing you if you were captured doing so.pirates were surprisingly democratic lol
That is a whole lotta gators!Would probably be a pretty good place to get rid of a body if you needed to
Sorry I took so long to reply. Got busy aha
Anyway, we finally went to the alligator farm as well as the pirate museum today. Both were awesome.
We are thinking of going to Ripley’s tomorrow but might do it tonight no have a bit of a headache right now but if it goes away maybe we will.
But we did do the pirate museum and the alligator farm today. Both were awesome.
And we did walk around the fort a bit. Not the entire thing but most of it. That was cool too.
Maybe we’ll go in tomorrow ha
So far it’s been great. Lots of great food.
And yes they still have the lions at the ends of the bridge.
wouldn’t dream of it.

I wonder how often the captain of a pirate ship was voted out of office by the crew.
That is a whole lotta gators!
All of this causes me to recall "the dread pirate Roberts," in "Princess Bride."
Sounds like a fun time Kelsey!
Some people consider taking care of those less fortunate to be a good thing.I can’t believe they even had disability/welfare back then.
