The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

:D:D:D:D:D
Dang it:lol:
I just got done wrestling with my Christmas tree and lights. Love my Christmas stuff but hate putting it away.
I’m going out to the shop now and finish working on that old sewing machine cabinet I got and my little chair I started refinishing. I thought they would be easy and are not. My son got me a sander for Christmas. My first power tool:DI got a little aggressive with it...there’s a learning curve:th

Hope you have a heater in the shop DMC. Have fun with your new power tool!

It's a pretty good picture of what it feels like around here :gig Your desert is sounding better every day Deb!
right now we have snow down to about 2000 feet. Of course my place is in the Mountain shadow. So it takes a pretty good storm to dump on the other side. But Yeah we rarely get more than four inches and it starts melting soon as the sun peeks out. The lowest temperature recorded for Jacumba was about 5 degrees happened about ten years ago when the Jet stream touched ground. I lost a pipe in the greenhouse room.

But no the winter temps get freezing and below with no snow. At night. But the day time temps move up to 40 or 50. We get an average of a week of snow then its gone... except where its shaded.

That doesn't sound bad at all.

We've had such a crazy amount of snow...it's been dumping on us since mid-October. If we get a sudden warming spell in the spring, everyone is saying to be prepared for flooding. That's a big concern to DH, the golf course is located next to the North Platte River. Things could get ugly!

thanks debby, her name was brenda but i changed it to bella marie when we adopted her last dec down in live oak from a breeder, thats her picture that breeder showed her when she had puppies, its been quite a trip making her a pet but shes come along way since then, shes only three years old now( she weighs 48lbs):D
