Debby, the local news even mentioned all the highway closures in WY! I hope Frankenfoot made it home before they closed? hope y'all get a break in the weather....soon! try and stay safe and warm!

Winter is returning here tonight or early Wednesday....although not quite as bad as y'all are getting it.

just got back from the dentist, and had a hamburger while out

@sharron my dentist uses some form of laser technology where he does not have to use Novocaine. I just had a tooth filled - no Novocaine, and no pain. Not certain how new this technology is. I'll be going to see him today to get a 'quote' on some cosmetic work done on some funky looking stuff. To me it seems like throwing good money after bad . I told the Princess, "There comes a time when you stop spending repair money on an old truck." She replied, "Depends on how much you love the truck." A real quick and smart mouth there. She's never at a loss for comebacks.

he went in and told them no novocaine, so dentist just did everything without anything but the work, husband says it didn't hurt but then he never has had novocaine but a couple of times for tooth pulling(they usually have go cut the tooth in half and pull each half and the one root canal last year) he had the root canal and cosmetic work on the front teeth today, has to go back to get a retainer next tues and then hes done

I know how you feel Sour apart from shower,shave, I also do shampoo. - Don't need novacaine for cavities - extractions - Yes. Even had teeth prepped for crowns without. But the dentist I have now has an itchy trigger finger. Before I can get comfy in the chair, he's spearing me.

Makes me really ticked off. He gives extra big doses of novcaine, he is worried it will wear off and his patients will scream. He gave me so much for no reason, that when I got home and tried to make next appt. with the bus dispatcher- He couldn't understand my words. Had to wait till it wore off and call again.

That's a major reason for no novacaine. When the dentist drills or works on me - when he is finished it is done. If he uses novacaine it can take a long time to wear off. I'm not a rugged person, I just "direct pain elsewhere." I send it to my little toe. I know it sounds ridiculous but it really works.

I know people in other cultures that do the same. But then I am not affraid of dentists just the BILL- oy!!

I cut down 2 trees, and put the flooring in the coop. Then it started raining.

When he was 7 or 8 my oldest grandson asked why I always wore flannel shirt and blue jeans. I told him that it was my uniform. Deal is that I am supposed to be buried wearing my uniform. The Princess says that I can't be cremated, but if she predeceases me ----------
