I hope so too. He got fed up with the last company he worked for. They finally got the unemployment thing fixed which they should have since it was their screw up. He bought another semi so I hope it works for him. He has a lot of debt right now. 😩Over the road trucking is what he’s wanted to do.

1st thing I do in the morning is open all the curtains. Its tough in August/September when I have to keep them blacked out all day, but necessary to keep it from being 100* in here.

In the desert I dont have black out curtians but I do have tinfoil... Dampen the window with some water and put the tinfoil on and press out the air. It will stay up till you want it down. And you can still open the window for ventilation if needed. I even my sliding glass door in my bedroom.

Our little heifers are growing up. I went up to fill up their trough this evening only to find all the bulls on the block next door lined up along the fence because some of our girls were bellowing at them. :rolleyes: They are big boys too and our girls are far too small for that sort of thing yet (plus they are just Friesian bulls so not what I want to breed the girls to). So I've had to rig up the electric fence (I told DH he will laugh when he sees what I've done) to get them away from the boundary fence. DH will be back tomorrow so we can set them up with a much better paddock, but I feel better now that there is a wire fence and an electric fence between the boys and our girls. And new grass is always more interesting than anything else so all is quiet now. Not quite what I expected to be running around doing when it was almost dark out.
