New Zealand will be locked down tomorrow for 4 weeks. Confirmed cases here jumped to 102 today. Experts (front line medical staff) had on Saturday started a petition (which by yesterday had over 30,000 signatures) to lock everything non essential down, but the government didn't want to panic anybody.
But at least DH will be coming home either tonight or tomorrow (he only drove down this morning). He'll find 'house arrest' difficult - he's always finding an excuse to go out and get something.
I'm hoping my eggs will still be delivered. They were sent out today.
The resident geese are still hanging around and no longer seem too worried by our presence. They used to waddle off onto the next farm whenever they saw us, but now they only move away if we are going towards them and they spend most of their day lounging in and next to the pond. They really are gorgeous despite their copious amounts of fertiliser.
