The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

New Zealand will be locked down tomorrow for 4 weeks. Confirmed cases here jumped to 102 today. Experts (front line medical staff) had on Saturday started a petition (which by yesterday had over 30,000 signatures) to lock everything non essential down, but the government didn't want to panic anybody. :he But at least DH will be coming home either tonight or tomorrow (he only drove down this morning). He'll find 'house arrest' difficult - he's always finding an excuse to go out and get something.

I'm hoping my eggs will still be delivered. They were sent out today.

The resident geese are still hanging around and no longer seem too worried by our presence. They used to waddle off onto the next farm whenever they saw us, but now they only move away if we are going towards them and they spend most of their day lounging in and next to the pond. They really are gorgeous despite their copious amounts of fertiliser.

How many turkeys do you have Cap? For some reason, I thought you had sold them at one of the sales.

Guess you can compost the poo for your garden, right?
I have zero turkeys, but I need to clean out their coop so I can modify it for chickens. It is mostly open on one side, so i plan to close it in.

Good morning everyone! :frow I hope everyone is doing good! My mood is much lighter this morning. I think lots of hugs helped. Y'all are the best!! :hugs 😌
:frow Good morning Chrissy, have a great day and here's a couple extra :hugs:hugs

Good morning to you and goodnight to me. :frow
:frow Good evening Jae, Sleep well
I'm not really up. Just a dream about my former boss. Didn't want to continue that.
:frow Good morning Cappy, have a great day and maybe a nap in your future.

Hi Jae, glad your DH will be around the home place for a while. I'm sure you can find outdoor jobs to keep him busy!

Beautiful picture of the geese and tall greenery.
