Hi Sue! I’m going to try and get off the couch. It’s been gloomy and rainy here for several days so I have done nothing. I get more done when I work:th

@N F C I have a neighbor that came down for eggs last night. He and his gf are wanting chickens but aren't able to find any chicks! I told him all I have is baby buzzards that aren't sexed. He asked to see a pic of my baby buzzards so I took him out back to see my flock and the look on his face :lau oh it was too much!

DMC , I totally understand that. I have tons of stuff to do here, but getting it done is another thing. It isn't supposed to rain until next week-long so hoping to get stuff done outside.

I got an email from Meyer hatchery yesterday...they are sold out of started pullets and won't have more for sale until August. Someone told me yesterday their farm store is selling out 200+ chicks every single day.

i have to go get my chickens from the baby sitter, he says mine are laying so i can set as soon as i get them home, hes saving my eggs since he knew i was coming home, and altho he kept them last year also, this year he wants some chicks from them, he fell in love with the gentle nature and the looks:D
