The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

so sorry im, can they cure it?
Don't know the stage but the dr said not life threatening. I'm hoping to be part of the conversation with the dr this week.
Was she having issues or did they find it on a mammogram?
Mammo. I'm thinking very likely stage 0 or 1 because she had a biopsy about 6 months ago and that was ok, this one was the follow up.

Good evening folks :frow Sue woke up at 12:30 today. She opened her eyes, looked at me and smiled. She's talking a little and prefers to keep her eyes closed. But she stayed awake for more than two hours.

My mother has milk duct breast cancer. This year really freaking sucks.
I'm sorry IM, She'll be in our prayers. :hugs

Good to hear Bob. Any idea what’s going on yet?
The bleed was consistent with an aneurysm but they haven't been able to find one. The angiogram didn't show any nor any bleeding. The did say that sometimes and aneurysm will pop and just close back up. That said, he didn't find any weak spots or areas of concern in the arteries. I'm sure he's going to want to do more tests, but he wants to wait until things clear up in there.

Folks, Sue needs all the prayers possible... She's in ICU at Vanderbilt.. with a massive brain bleed.

I was very sad to hear this but very pleased to hear she's doing better. That must have been very scary for you.

Hopefully she'll recover quickly if the doctor says it isn't life threatening. But yes, this sure is a rough year!
