The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Sue:hugs:hugs:hugs

Not yet:lol:I’m staining my fireplace mantel that my husband made me. I’m not loving the color. Part of the problem is the wood color. There was not a lot to choose from at our little hardware store.

Awe, that's a bummer you don't like the color. Stain is not my favorite finish to work with. Too dark or too light? I'd love to see it when you're done!

Yup. 2 days and a wake up. I'll go in early on Thursday as I need to be there at 8. They figure she'll be ready to leave by 11. Apparently I'll be meeting with all of her therapists, the dr, the pharmacist and her case manager.
Take lots of notes!

It was HOT here (for us).
And again you are going to share!!! It is going to hit high 80's low 90's the next few days. We might get 1/4" of rain tomorrow. Need a lot more than that.

You better drink another cup of coffee Debby
I think she was trying to nudge Sharron's DH into making something ;)

Because you can never see enough sunrises, here’s another.

That is beautiful. It would make a nice jigsaw puzzle.

I just saw the forecast for the next 7 days :th
I'll be complaining about our temps and don't even want to think about yours!!!!

Ours is dry as dust, I need to water tonight for sure!
I've had to water every 2-3 days.

I like the gray a lot better than the yellow. The blue pinstripes weren't a fave either ;)

She got the nose and I got the throat. I wonder why they are not the same all over?
I don't know. I THINK I heard that the nose test is more accurate (and way more uncomfortable).

The plan is to slowly read what I have missed 😍, I've missed you guys 🤗
Really glad you could get on Sue!!! I don't know about reading all the older posts. If I get that far behind I just start a few pages from the end and ask if I missed anything important. Not enough time in the day to read a couple of weeks worth of posts on all the threads I follow.

The good news about a teaching hospital. Her intern's student read a paper in class about a new headache treatment for stroke patients. Then shared it with the intern and her attending. So they gave it a try and it works.
What is the treatment?

Good morning everyone 🙂 I can't wait to get back on and see what been happening! Hopefully I'll be back this weekend, and at least say Hi to everyone. Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers 😊
It is good to see a post from you!

Thanks Bruce! I thought about putting it on canvas:)
The co-worker and her husband tested positive with a throat swab. I went to that same clinic. The teacher I work with did the nose and she said it didn’t hurt but made her sneeze.
