I didn't realize you had a monsoon season Leyla. Have you ever had any flood problems? I always think of NM as being dry.

Generally the only rain we get is from mid June through late September, it pours up from Central America in a plume of heavy moisture. It used to rain every day and sometimes for days on end. In the past we have had serious flooding issues in town on our rivers cresting extremely high, however we personally have never had any trouble. These last couple decades we get less and less moisture in the form of rain. Our winter snows are almost insignificant now.

Yeah, he's going to take out the 4 year old tube and put in a T tube, which is supposed to be long lasting. I got my questions answered, so that was good.

if I could go outside more than just early morning and evening if wouldn't be so bad. I am so ready for real Fall weather.
Last time I saw the garden, it was looking a little crazy, since I'd been in the hospital and it was not a priority.

I was out at 1 am watering my garden by hand with old rain water collected from the roof of the house. I picked a cuke, surprised the vines have not dried up yet.

Shedding skin is normal for chameleons.

Have you ever had a chameleon? They are terrific pets, but need a lot of special treatment .

Just a bunch of little stuff to do around here Cap. One thing about a bunch of little stuff, if you put it all off long enough, it can fill a day

I have a ton of cleaning, not my favorite thing. So far I cleaned off the sofa. Phew! I need a nap!

I got the coop spot cleaned, eggs boiled for making deviled eggs in a bit, a couple loads of laundry are in progress, fridge cleaned out, found a new recipe for dinner tomorrow when DH gets home, and the porch floor swept. Guess that's it so far. Of course there is always more I could do (but I don't wanna).
