We're up to 75* now so that has taken care of the chill.

I don't know when we are going to see outside temps higher than room temperature so no opening windows to let in the warm.

I just pull back the drapes, that lets some warm in. And the cats love to lay in the sunlight

Yep but there isn't near enough heat coming through the double pane windows to provide much heat.

We are still in the hot season here. In the winter on a sunny day we can get some sun to come in and help warm up the place a bit

We broke heat records..as I think you guys did this year... for the month of August. Now we're in the 80's.....ahhhh

I didn't think to do that - that would have been a good idea. I gave them to the dog. She's a nice broody so I can candle the eggs to see what's going on in a few days. One of my other bantams looks like she wants to go broody too. It's not even that warm yet!

I'm up early (3.35am here at the moment). The cockatiels decided to have a night fright.
