Good morning everyone!

@drstratton this is my egg nog recipe, it's delicious Eggnog Anytime It's good plain but we also like it in our coffee.

I have an appointment this morning to get my snow tires put on and oil changed but then I'm home to stay. I'm pooped.

I say its strange in the summer when it's hot and humid, pouring rain and people are outside in tank tops and shorts. So confusing.
I'm guessing you aren't in So. Cal. Humidity isn't a thing there.

It's snowing here and is expected to snow tomorrow and again Monday. Good thing I'm getting my snow tires on tomorrow.

Every year I say we should make some homemade eggnog...I never do! What recipe do you use? Maybe this will be the year I make some. Have fun baking!
I didn't think to save enough eggs this year. Last year we had 8 pullets so the eggs started coming. I've made Mama Wall's eggnog (from Baymule on BYH).

Mama Wall's Eggnog

12 eggs, separated
12 heaping tablespoons sugar
12 shots whiskey (I use 6)
1 pint cream

Beat egg whites until stiff
Beat egg yolks, add sugar slowly
While beater is running, slowly add whiskey. Too fast and you will have scrambled eggs. The whiskey cooks the egg yolks.
Beat cream until stiff

In punch bowl, pour egg yolk mixture, fold in egg whites, then fold in whipped cream. Add a little milk.

It still packs a kick with only half the booze. It will separate out in the refrigerator but the flavors also blend nicely. Just stir it up before pouring.

Thank you for the recipe! I'm a lightweight...so I will probably have to stick with the kids version...:D My youngest son would probably really like this though! :)

there wasn't much there, i don't know, we might have been early but we stopped at choctawhatchee river on the way back and looked, deep and fast current river, have fished it way down toward the mouth but never this far up river, maybe one day
