Anyone have a reverse osmosis system? When we dug our new well tests came back that we have arsenic in it. Our old one probably did too but we don’t know for sure. We are looking to get an under the sink system.
I would definitely recommend an under the sink unit. Depending on the service people in your area, and how concerned you are with the water, you might look into a while house RO. I'm sure they are quite spendy, however. Under sink R/O's are good units, just don't have much capacity. But good for drinking water, coffee pots etc. Should only need to change filters once a year or so.

Wow ! arsenic ? Just curious is that from old gold prospecting, refining ? Be careful arsenic builds up in your body . Make sure you get the correct filter elements to remove it .
It could be?? Did they use arsenic for that? We have a big highway construction project coming up this summer, it involves the land that we live on. They are taking so many feet of our land to widen the highway...anyway in our papers there is something about some bank or something owning mineral rights on our land. It was something done before we owned it. Maybe there was gold here.
Reverse osmosis will take arsenic out of the water. There was quite a list of health problems it can cause in the letter that was sent to us. Right now I am buying water and that is getting old.

The painting class was so-so. The instructor seemed to spend 1/2 her time chatting with another student (apparently she's friends with that gal's mother) and the other 1/2 of the time drawing small figures on a white board while she talked with her back to us.

Oh well, just one more session with her then I'm done!
You did a painting class? I need to catch up
But before I do, hello :frow

Maybe you should go prospecting for gold before the highway project starts!

I am concerned enough that we’ll be getting one. If I can get 2-3 gallons a day that will be enough to cook with and drink and the coffee pot.

Yep, I decided to force myself out of the house and signed up for 2 classes at Casper College. This month it's painting and next month is a drawing class.

This is a lifelong learning program for anyone over the age of 50. For $60 I can take up to 5 classes for no charge (other than supplies if needed). They offer everything from gun safety to baking to yoga to history and a bunch of other things. No credits given but I don't really care about that.
