The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

This is the story on how my cole slaw recipe came to be modified...

Prior to opening the golf course restaurant, I had to provide samples of several items to the Advisory Board. Everything was fine until someone loudly complained that my cole slaw wasn't sweet enough (I don't use any sugar in it).

So making up a huge batch the way I normally do, I added one teaspoon of sugar to it. Just one teaspoon of sugar to 3 cabbages and the all rest of the ingredients.

The complainer said it was then perfect (she didn't know how little I added).

Good morning again everyone. I went back to bed. When I woke up hubs was still there but once I was up Frank woke up hubs. He says it’s time to play at the park so get moving!

I like potato salad made with little red potatoes, sour cream mixed with a little mayo and some dill weed for the dressing. Traditional methods are fine as well and we had it with eggs, onions, celery yesterday at my moms.
I have had it that way and I like it.

If I didn’t have 2 coffee makers, a microwave, toaster, knife block, utensil holder, 2 mixers and a paper towel holder sitting on my countertops I’d have plenty of room. I daily move something out of my way.
I move things on and off too!

You also Bob!

I use regular red potatoes boiled whole, mayo, yellow mustard, sugar, white vinegar, salt, pepper and onion powder. I like it with celery and real onion but my family does not.
You All are missing pickles and black olives!
